Mock mediation

Overview

Witness how mediation works as our trainers lead you through the process in the form of an acted demonstration. Watching the story unfold stage by stage will allow delegates to see exactly what happens and provides the opportunity to pause for questions, explanations and discussion.

The course will also look at how mediation can be introduced into the workplace and the standards mediators need to achieve to deliver successful mediations.

Business need

Managers can spend much of their valuable time getting drawn into relationship difficulties and conflict situations between staff. The mediation approach is about working with those in conflict to help them find and agree their own solutions.

This course outlines the mediation process and gives the opportunity to see mediation in action, leaving delegates better equipped to recognise when mediation may be appropriate and how to deliver it.  This course also works as a starting point in mediation training and will help delegates understand how to further their training to the next level to become a mediator themselves.

Suitable For

Managers at all levels, HR professionals, and anyone interested in managing workplace conflict more effectively and / or becoming a mediator.
