Job Evaluation - Unlocking the mystique

An outline of the steps an organisation should take when considering the introduction of a grading structure based on job evaluation.

Business need

Many organisations have difficulty demonstrating the logic behind their grading structures.  Increasingly this leaves them open to challenge by employees claiming equal pay.

The answer is the introduction of a fair and equitable analytical job evaluated grading structure.  However, it is essential that those handling the process understand the issues to be considered when deciding if job evaluation is appropriate.

In this session we provide a basic understanding of the principles of job evaluation and outline the steps you must consider in order to ensure the successful implementation of a job evaluated grading structure.

Suitable For

  • Managers and human resource professionals from organisations facing grading grievances, disputes or potential equal value issues.
  • Representatives from organisations considering the introduction of job evaluation.

The in-depth full day session will include:-

- Basic principles of job evaluation

- Risk assessment - Issues to consider before deciding to commit to job evaluation
