Anti-bullying and harassment Adviser training

Bullying and harassment in the workplace can be highly damaging to individuals, teams and whole organisations.

This full day event will equip delegates with the relevant skills, techniques and knowledge to become an Anti-Bullying and Harassment Adviser (ABHA) or equivalent within their own organisations.

Business need

Unacceptable behaviour at work is harmful for everyone and grievances and Employment Tribunal claims can prove expensive for organisations.

Colleagues can approach ABHA’s for advice, support and assistance if they feel they are being treated inappropriately at work. This can improve workplace relations by resolving issues before they get out of control. It can reduce stress for individuals, save employer’s time and money, and improve employee wellbeing.

All delegates will receive an electronic certificate of attendance for their participation in the training.

Suitable For

Staff due to become or currently performing the role of an Anti-Bullying and Harassment Adviser and their managers.

Also suitable for equality, diversity and inclusion specialists, HR professionals, business owners, Trade Union representatives, employee representatives, and individuals who wish to enhance their CPD.

Our expert-led training sessions are designed to facilitate discussion and interaction. This event will cover:

  • An explanation of discrimination law
  • The diversity “mind-set”
  • Skills and attributes for an ABHA
  • The role of the ABHA
  • The importance of networking and support for ABHA’s
  • Practical skills and techniques to help support staff
  • How the role fits in with existing equality policies and procedures
  • Action planning
