Managing underperformance can be uncomfortable at times and can therefore get overlooked. However, failure to address it can have a significant negative impact on an organisation and its employees.

This event will provide you with the skills and confidence to help you effectively identify, address and develop underperforming staff.

Although regular reviews and support will help minimise underperformance, there may be occasions where an employee’s performance consistently fails to reach the required standard.

Where this is the case, managers must be prepared to address the issue in a fair and consistent way and ensure that any disciplinary action is in line with the Acas Code of Practice.
