Having difficult conversations (England & Wales) - digital event


Overview

One of the most challenging parts of managing performance is initiating conversations around sensitive topics.

This digital event will give you practical and effective techniques to confidently conduct and manage difficult conversations with employees.

The event will be delivered via Zoom, in two sessions, over two consecutive days. The duration of each session will be 3 hours.

The dates are:

  • Day 1 - 8th of April 2021, 09:30 - 12:30
  • Day 2 - 9th of April 2021, 09:30 - 12:30

Business need

Tackling contentious issues in a balanced, calm and consistent way is a valued skill in all areas of life. In a workplace these skills can help promote productivity and employee engagement.

Managers who avoid difficult conversations risk undermining their own position and potentially losing credibility with staff.

Immerse yourself in a safe role-play environment where you will gain hands on experience of how to manage discussion around a range of uncomfortable subjects including personality clashes, discipline and dismissal.

Delivered via Zoom, this event will also cover ways to address sensitive topics like bullying, resistance to criticism and poor performance.

 
All delegates will receive an electronic certificate of attendance for their participation in the training.
