Neurodiversity in the workplace - digital event

Overview

Understanding neurodiversity and taking steps to provide support in the workplace can be hugely beneficial for employers and employees. Supporting neurodivergent staff through informed employment decisions can lead to a more integrated and engaged workforce and have a positive impact on your business.

Business need

It is estimated that around 1 in 7 of the UK population are neurodivergent, meaning that the brain functions, learns and processes information differently.

Neurodivergence includes conditions we have all familiar with and which we have become more aware of in the workplace, such as attention deficit disorder (ADD), autism, dyslexia and dyspraxia.

Delivered via Zoom, this event will provide an overview of neurodiversity, discuss ways that businesses can support neurodivergent employees and consider the legal obligations and responsibilities for employers. We will also look at your rights as a neurodivergent employee and the impact that supporting neurodiversity, and diversity as a whole, can have on the workplace.
