Reasonable adjustments and disability (Scotland) - digital event

Overview

This digital event will explore how reasonable adjustments can have a positive impact on employees’ well-being and productivity. It will provide you with a clear understanding of the law and outline practical guidance for managing reasonable adjustments.

The event will be delivered via Zoom, in two sessions, over two consecutive days. The duration of each session will be 3 hours.

The dates are:

  • Day 1 - 3rd of February 2022, 9:30 - 12.30
  • Day 2 - 4th of February 2022, 9:30 - 12.30

Business need

Failure to make reasonable adjustments is one of the most common forms of disability discrimination. This event will look at how implementing reasonable adjustments can improve employee engagement and provide a more positive staff experience in the workplace.

Early intervention and putting the right adjustments in place can provide higher levels of productivity and reduce levels of sickness absence.  This event comes at a key time when employers are increasingly receiving requests for reasonable adjustments from staff suffering with 'long Covid'.

Delivered via Zoom, this event provides an insight into a range of scenarios where reasonable adjustments may apply. It will also provide you with an understanding of the relevant legislation and the benefits of implementing work adjustments.

All delegates will receive an electronic certificate of attendance for their participation in the training.

Suitable For

Delegates from all sectors of industry including: managers, supervisors, team leaders, HR professionals, business owners, Trade Union representatives, employee representatives and individuals who wish to enhance their CPD.
