Mental health in the workplace: good practice and the law - digital event

The law and best practice surrounding mental health in the workplace, including how to use the Acas framework for positive mental health at work

Recent research from Deloitte has found that the cost of poor mental health to employers has increased from £45bn in 2019, to £56bn in 2020-21.

Whilst many of the reasons behind poor mental health will not be work-related, evidence shows that employers who reduce stigma, improve management capability and increase self-support help their employees to remain productive and stay in work.

This event provides an insight into the range of mental health conditions and gives delegates an understanding of the relevant legislation and benefits of promoting positive mental health.

It will also cover the Acas framework for positive mental health; a holistic model which details the key responsibilities of the employer, the manager and the individual in contributing to healthy and productive workplaces.
