How to handle formal flexible work requests in line with legislation and the new Acas Code of Practice
The new statutory Acas Code of Practice on requests for flexible working came into force on 6 April 2024. It provides guidance to support employers and employees to understand new legal measures and provides good practice recommendations.
The new Code sets out minimum standards of behaviours expected in all workplaces, and will be taken into account in relevant employment tribunal cases.
