Management training for new managers (face-to-face)
|
Overview
It can be tough moving into management for the first time. This event will help prepare you for your new role.
You will learn about the role of a line manager, effective communication skills, managing absence and discipline and grievance issues, as well gaining an understanding of relevant employment law.
Business Need
Moving into management is a major step. This event will provide the essential skills and knowledge required for your journey.
Line managers are key members of the management team and have the closest contact with the workforce. It is therefore important that you receive appropriate support and training to carry out your role.
Failing to get things right through a lack of knowledge of basic employment law can sometimes lead to costly employment tribunal applications.
This event will cover the communication skills required in the day to day managing of your team and knowledge to enable you to make decisions with confidence.
We include interactive group discussions, relevant scenarios and case studies.
All delegates will receive an electronic certificate of attendance for their participation in the training.
