Overview
Join the Acas Staffordshire HR Forum where we will be giving an overview of the Employment Rights Act (ERA) and taking a closer look at collective conciliation.
Business Need
Acas Senior Business Adviser, Yvonne Leslie, will be providing an overview of the ERA, and answering attendee questions.
Representatives from Newcastle and Stafford College Group will give a short talk on the college’s successes and their placement schemes.
Gez Prendergast from GXO will give a short talk on placements for young people with SEND needs.
Attendees will also have an update on consultation on the trade union recognition process, plus a discussion on inducements, with Jane Wilson, Acas Collective Conciliator.
Jane has over 30 years’ experience working for Acas, including 20 years as an Individual Conciliator, before moving on to Collective Conciliation. She has used her considerable knowledge and experience to help parties work through difficult situations, and find fair, sustainable solutions.
